Unwind To Rewind.

At some point of time all we wonder is why things change so drastically and have an innate desire to get those days back.
Have you ever felt a craving,
For those good old days?
And found yourself helpless, wanting
To go back to life's earlier ways?

Filled with cheer and mirth,
Without a sign of dismay,
Have you ever felt that,
Today is hugely different to those days?

Carefree unlike the present day,
Being ecstatic and celebrating come what may,
Is that life full of  colours,
What you desperately miss today?

Earlier days passed in a flash,
Making you yearn,
For double those hours
To be filled in your bag.

The days were radiant and glowing,
When you made innumerable memories,
And the bonds of transparency,
Was what that kept you going.

Then suddenly what has come to pass
In the last few days,
That you can't find reasons
For the drastic contrast?

Maybe then complexity has overpowered,
That gleeful and jovial heart,
And keeping things simple,
Is what you find truly hard.

Then just give an attempt and allow yourself,
To make that effort to unwind,
And not let your heart be controlled,
By the intricate dictates of your mind.

Give yourself the freedom,
To express and do not restrict yourself,
Or else time might just pass
Swiftly through that hour glass,
And those questions will perhaps,
Remain unanswered in your heart.
