What will happen next?

More often then not, it is the things that are going to happen in future torment our thoughts in present.

What will happen next?
What will not?
Will I be able to make it,
Or will I not?

Has the future in store,
Something good for me?
Am I prepared enough,
To face the harsh reality?

How will they react?
Will they or will they not,
Appreciate and like,
All my future acts?

Your anxious mind continuously,
Keeps going on a frantic spree,
Trying to fortell what heights,
You'll scale on your ideal future tree.

Just pause for a moment,
And don't let anxiety torment,
The peace in your heart,
And the patience in your mind.

Don't make yourself too busy,
In predicting what you'll attain.
Allowing your impatience to put,
You anxiety and fears aflame.

Try telling yourself that it's you,
Who decides the outcome,
By putting in the required effort,
Not in thoughts, but in the process.

Now if you decide to use your time
In the process or in predicting,
Results of your actions in your mind,
Is completely up to you my friend;

'Cause in the end you can only mould,
And not decide, what will follow.
So does it, at all make any sense,
In thinking about the consequences
And letting your mind become hollow?
